Entertainment Weekly Owen Gleiberman
The movie is merciless sending up "Juno's" self-satisfied hipster gobbledygook, and it's quite funny to see Hannah Montana still promoting her tie-in products as she lies crushed and dying under a meteor.

Los Angeles Times Michael Ordona
The product's not 100% giggle-free: Several songs have amusing lyrics, especially parodies of "Juno" and "High School Musical."

TV Guide Maitland McDonagh
Lazy, superficially au courant and utterly forgettable.

Why would you watch a bad movie about better movies, when you could just rent the originals instead?

Does little more than congratulate its audience on recognizing the source of its riffs. "High School Musical" -- ha ha ha!

Seldom has a pic been more appropriately titled than Disaster Movie, yet another frantically unfunny free-form farce.

It's too easy to say Disaster Movie deserves its title, but why put more effort into trashing it than the filmmakers did into writing it?

This carpet-fouling mongrel of a movie no more deserves release than do anthrax spores.

There's no nice way to say this, so I'll just say it: Writer/directors Friedberg and Seltzer are a scourge.

Keenan S gave it a2:
Disaster Movie is easily one of the worst films I've seen in recent memory, and was awful enough to be in my top five worst films. Disaster Movie is nothing more than one crappy parody after another about whatever the hell was popular in 2008, or even 2007. Don't watch this film unless you contemplate suicide, which if you do, this film will be more than happy to encourage you. This film was absolutely excruciating, and was literally painful to watch to the point where not even my DVD player liked it. Stay far, far away from this piece of garbage.

Glen M gave it a1:
I have not seen any of these movies and you couldn't pay me to. But I have two comments. If it's as bad as everyone says criminals should be forced to watch it the same way as Alex is forced to watch the violence in Clockwork Orange. That'd keep them on the straight, the threat of having to endure it again. Secondly if you hated all their previous work why the **** did you go to this?!

Francisco M gave it a0:
This is not a movie... This is crap... Pure crap.

Mark gave it a0:
The most insulting pile of filth I have ever watched. This disgusting excuse for a movie is proof that man kind is doomed.

Annthony R gave it a0:
Only possible funny part is with the chipmunks, but the movie in general is trash.

J Y gave it a0:
Not one thing is good about this movie... no laughs, never felt so painful watching a movie.

Amazing Rando gave it a0:
Horrible, just horrible. I swear, no amount of bad movies can prepare for this POS of a movie. If you think movie characters from recent movies and famous celebrities swearing or making sex jokes is funny, then I'm sorry for you. I literally cried during this, I cried for the death for humor, I cried because there are people out there who laugh during stupid, retarded, childish crap like this. *SIGH* You know a movie is bad when it makes High School Musical look good in comparison.
