The single player game follows Goku and his clever sidekick Bulma as they travel the world overcoming enemies and obstacles to collect the 7 Dragon Balls. In the shoes of Goku, the player must protect Bulma from incoming enemy attacks using special skills, such as fighting with his power pole, or unleashing a kamehameha. Origins is one of the best Nintendo DS-games of the year, and both appealing to fans of and newcomers to the Dragon Ball-universe. It’s got a good story, great humour, plenty of action, and some nice visuals to keep you coming back for more. My only gripe with it is the at times not so precise control system, and lack of co-op mode, which could’ve turned this game into an instant Kamehameha.
