There's a definite novelty value here, and it's not the sort of game you'll be playing every day for a month, or even a week. Nor does it come bundled with a sophisticated piece of technology, or pretend to offer any health benefits whatsoever. But as a toy - one designed for use for family with friends, and only on occasion - it's great.

Concerning graphics Nintendo’s Family Trainer seems to be very similar to other titles like Wii Sports and Wii Fit, and so does the sound.

Family Trainer feels like Bandai Namco is trying to ride the wave of success that Wii Fit has enjoyed for some time now. It doesn't take long to figure out that Family Trainer is far from being a new Wii Fit, instead you're treated to a number of minigames where the "training" consists of jumping, waving and stomping when the game tells you to. There is a mild degree of fun to be had here, but the content doesn't match the price tag.
