If you’re a fan of the Bad Boys films this is a must and even if you’re not this is great to play to get some anger out of your system!

It is just disappointing to see half baked ideas churned out which could have been full baked masterpieces if the effort was applied.

Worth Playing
Suffers from mediocrity. It is a solid game, but there is nothing outstanding about it that would draw players to it, or make the title worth acquiring. The game implements the two signature characters poorly, which makes for annoying gameplay, and there is no multiplayer portion whatsoever.

There's two cops, Mike and Marcus. Where's the two player simultaneous co-op mode?

The levels are linear and dull, and for some reason you can only take cover in specified circles in the environment, which takes away any sense of reality or spontaneity. [Dec 2004, p.168]

Xbox Evolved
With the ill-fated graphics and atrocious audio throughout the entire the game, you’ll be wondering why this game ever had the green light to be put on video game shelves.

Fine in short blasts for anyone looking for some mindless tension-busting target practice. However, those seeking something that challenges the grey stuff will need to look elsewhere.

Team Xbox
The absolute bare bones of an action game are present, but they are executed so poorly, that the game begins to near the line of being unplayable. The gameplay is very repetitive, the controls are clunky, visually it is just plain nasty, and the audio is laughable.

IGN
There's a lot of utterly stupid crap in Bad Boys: Miami Takedown, and yet it's kind of enjoyable in an "I love watching car wrecks" kind of way.

To put it simply, it's nearly impossible to enjoy Bad Boys: Miami Takedown without being completely naive. The presentation, game play, and voice acting are all about 10 years behind, it's a sad state of affairs.

Even for the budget price tag that Miami Takedown is retailing for, this bomb is a horrible choice for anyone, and it should absolutely be avoided.

Cheat Code Central
The dialogue in this game has to be heard to be believed, although I don't recommend you even spend a nickel renting it. Although the actual actors didn't voice the characters, the developers found a couple of morons that are equally as bad.

If the development team was trying to emulate the film it has succeeded, this is utter crap.

Warcry
A truly incomprehensible final product. This game, although given the title Bad Boys, and perhaps living up to the vulgarity and profanity of the movies, does nothing to quell the hunger for explosion, action, wit, or anything that the movies may have given me in an equal amount of time. What a waste.

It looks appalling, contains some absolutely egregious gameplay, and subjects the player to some downright execrable dialogue. Whatever it is, Bad Boys is nowhere near good.

Smith and Lawrence have nothing to do with Bad Boys: Miami Takedown. And neither should your hard-earned 20 bucks. [Dec 2004, p.90]

This game fails in a cataclysmic manner, with nothing really appealing going for it- not even the $20 price tag. It's got boring action that gets monotonous, a presentation that's bottom feeder at best, and nothing to offer the gamer even if they put up with the game's numerous stages.

Tries to be more than a straight shooter, requiring you to use cover and tactics. But it's like putting a turbocharger on a Yugo: pointless. [Jan 2005, p.74]

[Anonyous] gave it a4:
Its okay. Not the best game but its okay to kill a bit of time. Gameplay does become boring and repetative, but thats okay when ur pissed at life or something. there seems to be no, and i mean NO similaity between actors and the protagonists in the game. The voices are nothing like the actual actors as well. Should been called 'generic shooter - featuring two officers- who look nothing like will smith or martin lawrence- with some weird incoherent plot- boys 2'. Definatly not like the movie at all. i bought my copy for £1 => $2, but even then its a strain to finish (jus did!)

[Anonymous] gave it a 10:
Beautiful simply beautiful.

AB gave it a 0:
This game is pathetic. So pathetic, in fact, that I was angry the whole time I was playing. No, seriously. I was pissed. All I could think about was the awful voices, terrible graphics, and the frustrating and boring gameplay. Don't waste your money on this horrendous game.

Mod myxbox gave it a 4:
Funfactor is a 5, voice overs are 2 horrible acting sounds like two white guys trying to sound ghetto. This game is a renter only if nothing good is in stores.

[Anonymous] gave it a 10:
