Charlie Q gave it a1:
I've been a big fan for years and own everything they've released to date. This is the 1st album by them that I thought was a total waste of time. Disappointingly uninspired.
Brendan W. gave it a10:
A storming mess of an album. Awash with psychedelia and drone. A fitting tribute to both bands names colliding in the album title portmanteau. Another under-appreciated and under-rated world class act!
Dylan C gave it a9:
Not something that will blow you away on first few plays. But put it on some night when you can't sleep and it's 2am and it's just you, this CD and your headphones. Then you'll get it. I just hope BJM is able to keep going apace, releasing new stuff like this, taking risks.
Alan R. gave it a1:
Anton's creativity has dried up. Drone is the last refuse for the untalented.
Steve F gave it a3:
Huge fan but not very pleased with this experiment in shoegazing My Bloody Valentine obsession. The track called Yeah yeah is the only song on here that I would listen to a second time. Quite a disappointment...from a huge fan. Overall i'd say I don't hate the album..I just didn't enjoy it
Warwick K. gave it an8:
definite grower. i tried my best to dislike this album, but now can't bring myself take it out of the player. A big change in direction for A.A.N., but well worth the persistence for old & new fans of the bjm.
Rhys D gave it a9:
Why the hatin? I love this album. If some of the tracks on here had been released as a single by, say, Wooden Shjips, everyone would be coming in their pants over it. But because its BJM, and because of *that* film, lets write them off.
